The City Council of the Oity of Seal B~ach met in regular session at 8:00 P. M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding. Meeting was called to order with salute to the Flag. Present, Absent, Mayor Shufelt Councilmen, Bowers, Brostrom, Jacobsen, Leonard Councilmen, None I' The minutes of regular meeting of August 17th and adjourned regular meeting of September 23rd were read and approved on Mayors motion.' COMMUNICATIONS: Petition signed by 25 property owners and residents in the 1600 "Block on Ocean Avenue and Seal Way, asking the Council to have the strip between the Navy fence and Seal Way landscaped. Matter referred to Roy Thomas and the Beach and Park Committee for report. Letter of D. M. Callis asking that something be done regarding the water drainage condition in front of his property and construc- , ., the Oity Engineer prepare an estimate of such drainage and that the Oity construct said curb if property owner advances estimated I cost of same or do same themselves under City supervision. Motion carried Unanimouf , . Letter of George Kretzschmar asking permit to divide Lots 2 - 4 Block 215 Tract No. 10 into two plots of ~O' X 501 each. It was moved Leonard, second by Jacobsen that request be approved. Motion carried Un, Letter of John Marchman regarding playing of card games. R. & F. Letter of Chamber of Commerce asking permit for youth parade C. of C. and use of City truck to be used as JUdges stand. It was moved by )South Parade P. E. Petition for re-zoning of 5th Street between Central Avenue and Ocean Avenue.
