The City Council of the Oity of Seal Beach met in regular
session at 7:30 P. M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding. Meeting was
called to order with salute to the Flag.

The minutes of regular meeting of September a.nd special meet-
ing of September 29 were read.
It was moved by Brostrom that
minutes of special meeting of September 29, be declared null & void
Failed for want of a second.
On Mayors motion minutes of both meetings to stand approved
as read.

Letter of John B. Nye asking removal of Palm trees from in front
of Lots 42 - 44 Block 13, Bay City Tract. Referred to Street Committ

deemed as having had its final reading and be adopted. Failed

study is made of permit fees.

that not in excess of $250.00 be appropriated to finance the ex-

member, It was suggested that Mr. Van Ausdeln make resigination to
the appolnting body, the City Council.
Letter of Planning Oommission protesting manner of appointment of
its members togather with recommendation of copy of new Ordinance
