The Oity Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session at 7:30 P. M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding. Meeting was called to order with salute to the Flag. Present, Absent, Mayor Shufelt Councilmen, Leonard, Jacobsen, Bowers Oouncilman, Brostrom The minutes of regular meeting of October ~, were read and app- roved on Mayors motion. OOMMUNICATIONS: Petition containing twenty (20) signatures of residents west of Water ~th Street was presented. A future meeting with the City Enginesr and other competent authority on the subject to be held in the nea~ future at which time the matter of correction will be more completely explored. Letter of the Ohamber of Oommerce thanking the Council for the Cities co-operation in making the Youth Day a success, Received & Filed Letter of H. C. Van Ausdelen to Planning Oommission resigning as member, It was suggested that Mr. Van Ausdeln make resigination to the appolnting body, the City Council. Letter of Planning Oommission protesting manner of appointment of its members togather with recommendation of copy of new Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 199. Both communications referred to City Atty. Motion carried Un Demands numbering 501 to 552 inclusive amounting to $6,090.24 as approved by the Finance Oommittee were presented. It was moved by Bowers, second by Jacobsen that b~lls be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for same.
