, The City Council of the City of Seal Beach, met at
g:OO P. M. in adjourned Special Session with Mayor Shufelt
presiding, for the purpose of canvassing the votes and de-
claring the results of the Special Municipal Election of
July 12, 1949. Meeting was called to order with salute to the
Flag.

Resolution 676 was introduced and read declaring the results
of the Special Election. It was moved by Brostrom, second by
Jacobsen that Resolution 676 be adopted.

It was moved by Leonard, second by Bowers that the communi-
cation and proposed anti-gambling ordinance be picked up from
the Table and acted upon.

Motion by Brostrom to waive the ordinance reading.
Failed for want of a second.
It wa,s moved by Leonard, second by Jacobsen to, refer the
proposed ordinance to the City Attorney and for him to report
back his findings at the next regular meeting.

ment. It was moved by Bowers, second by Jacobsen that Resolution

RESOLUTION NO. 676
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DEOLARING
RESULT OF SPEOIAL ELECTION HELD IN
THE CITY OF SEAL BEAOH ON TUESDAY
THE 12th DAY OF JULY, 1949.
The Oity Oouncil of the Oity of Seal Beach does resolve as
follows: that the Special Municipal Election was held and conducted
in the City of Seal Beach on Tuesday, the 12th day of July, 1949, '
in time, form and manner as required by law; that the voting precincts
for said special election consisted of six regular election precincts
established for holding state or county elections.
The whole number of votes cast in the Oity of Seal Beach
was 1,354.
The number of votes given in each voting precinct for and against
said proposition, including the Absentee votes, voted at the Precinct, '
as the law now provides, together with~e whole number of votes which
said proposition received in the entire Oity, were as follows:

Revenue Act of 1949', being an ordinance permitting the
conduct and operation 'of all legal games under proper reg-
ulation within the City of Seal Beach upon the payment of
a license fee therefor, be adopted. II

Ularly passed by the Oity Oouncil of the City of Seal Beach at an
adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of July, 1949,
