M. for the purpose of considering the applioation of Mrs. James Kimball for non-oonforming use permit, in advance of the regular meeting hour of 7:30 P.M. Meeting ~as called to order by Mayor Shufelt with salute to the Flag. Pres ent, Absent, lIlayor Shufelt Counoilmen, Bowers. Brostrom. Leonard Councilmen, Jacobsen City Clerk read application of Mrs. Kimball for non-conforming use permit on Nly t of Lot 21, Lots 23 and 25, and Sly * Lot 27, and read the affadavit of mailing of cards and posting of notices. Letter of Mrs. Kimball was also read, withdrawing her request and abandonment of idea of a nursery school. It was moved by Leonard, second by Brostrom that letter of withdrawal be accepted. Motion carried. ' Letter of the Chamber of Commerce to use the name of the City C OF C Rose Parade DeAr- mond of Seal Beach on a float in the Annual Tournament of Roses Parade. It was moved by Leonard, second by Bowers that request be granted.
