M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding~ Meeting was called to order with salute to the Flag_ Present, Absent, Mayor Shufelt Councilmen, Bowers, Brostrom, Leonard, Jacobsen Oouncilmen, None The minutes of adjourned meeting of October 17th and regula~, meeting of even date togather with minutes of adjourned meeting of October 20th were read and approved on Mayors motion. I' COMMUNICATIONS: Letter of Ann S. and Harry F. Brown calling attention to smog S condi tions loca,lly and asking if something could not be done to remedy M conditions. Council directed City Attorney to write a letter to Pure o Air Oouncil and City Clerk to contact Ivan Deckert,Long Be"ch asking Ji for an appointment at a meeting here locally. Letter of W. L. Upon reconvening it was moved by Brostrom, second by Jacobsen that contract be awarded to Sully-Miller Construction Co.
