A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
DECLARING WORK TO BE COMPLETED PER CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS FOR 2013 ANNUAL SLURRY SEAL PROJECT
NO. ST1201
WHEREAS, on April 22, 2013 the City of Seal Beach entered into a contract with
Doug Martin Contracting Co., Inc. in the amount of $86,735.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work has been
substantially completed in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the work required to be performed by Doug Martin Contracting
Co., Inc. has been completed and accepted.
Section 2. That the total cost of the project paid to Doug Martin Contracting
Co., Inc. is $88,726.52 for the work performed.
Section 3. That a "Notice of Completion" be filed on behalf of the City with the
Office of the Orange County Clerk-Recorder within 10 days of the
date of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the Seal Beach City Council at a
regular meeting held on the 26th day of August , 2013 by the following vote:
