Home My WebLink AboutCC Res 5148 2003-07-28 RESOLUTION NO. 6/.iI g A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH ACCEPTING GRANT OF PUBLIC ACCESS AND SIDEWALK EASEMENT ON SOUTH SIDE OF WESTMINSTER A VENUE WEST OF SEAL BEACH BOULEVARD I WHEREAS, public access and sidewalk around a relocated Edison power pole located on the south side of Westminster A venue west of Seal Beach Boulevard in front of the Chevron gas station is needed as part of the Seal Beach Boulevard and Westminster Avenue Widening Project Number 59665 is needed; and WHEREAS, Hassan & Sons, Inc. owner of the Chevron gas station on t1te southwest comer of Westminster Avenue and Seal Beach Boulevard has executed a Grant of Public Access and Sidewalk Easement dated June 26, 2003 for acceptance by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach to provide for the needed public access and sidewalk around the relocated power pole; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends that the City Council of t1te City of Seal Beach accept from Hassan & Sons, Inc. the offer of Grant of Public Access and Sidewalk Easement for the aforementioned public access and sidewalk need. I NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEA<;:H DOES. HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS that the aforementioned Grant of Public Access and Sidewalk Easement is hereby accepted BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach that the City Clerk of the City of Seal Beach shall httve the aforementioned Grant of Public Access and Sidewalk Easement duly and properly recorded in the official records of the office of the Recorder of the County of Orange.
