Home My WebLink AboutCC Ord 1388 1994-09-12 ORDINANCE NUMBER /388 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 11 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH REGARDING PERMITS FOR CHARITABLE SOLICITORS IN THE CITY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subsection (c) of section 11-206 of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach is hereby rescinded, and subsection (d) is redesignated as subsection (c). I Section 2. section 11-219 of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Seal Beach is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: Section 11-219. Time of Solicitation. It shall be unlawful for any person to go upon private residential premises between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. the following morning for the purpose of solicitation, unless such person has been specifically requested or invited to do so by the owner and/or occupant of said premises. , APPROVED and ADOPTED by the city Council of the City of each a meeting thereof held on the ~ day of , 1994.
