AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
A CHARTER CITY, AMENDING THE COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES OF COUNCILMANIC DISTRICTS NUMBERS TWO
AND FOUR OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH AND CORRECTING THE
EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS OF COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT ONE,
COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT THREE, AND COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT
FIVE, AND AMENDING SECTION 2-70 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2-70 of the Municipal Code of the city
of Seal Beach is hereby amended to amend the descriptions of
Councilmanic Districts Two and Four respectively to read as
follows:
"COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO. 2
In the City of Seal Beach, County of orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point of intersection of the easterly right-of-
way of the Bolsa chica Flood Control Channel and the northerly
right-of-way of the San Diego/Garden Grove Freeway; .
Thence, south~rlY.3long the City of Seal Beach boundary being
a common boundary with the city of Westminster to the
centerline of Westminster Avenue;
Thence, westerly along said centerline to a point of
intersection with the centerline of Seal Beach Boulevard;
Thence, northerly along said centerline to a point of
intersection with the centerline of Golden Rain Road;
Thence, southwesterly along said line to a point of
intersection with the centerline of st. Andrews Drive;
Thence, northwesterly along said centerline of st. Andrews
Drive to a point of intersection with the centerline of
Northwood Road;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of said Northwood Road
to a point of intersection with the southerly projection of
the easterly boundary of that portion of land recorded as
Parcel Map 33-17, Miscellaneous Maps, orange County;
Thence, northerly along said line and the easterly line of
said Parcel to a point of intersection with the southerly line
of Garden Grove Boulevard (Old Name), also being the southerly
line of state of California Route 22;
Thence, westerly along said line to a point of intersection
with the common boundary line between Los Angeles County and
the City of Seal Beach;
Thence, northw~st9rly and northeasterly along said boundary
line to a poiut of intersection with the northerly line of
Annexation 64-1, also being the common boundary of orange
County and City of Seal Beach;
Thence, along said common boundary and following the northerly
line of Annexation 64-1 generally southeasterly, southerly,
southeasterly, northeasterly and northerly to the intersection
with the southerly boundary of Annexation 66-1;
Thence, westerly, northerly, easterly, northerly, easterly and
southerly along the boundary of said annexation to a point of
intersection with the nor:herly boundary of Annexation 64-1,

of intersection with the centerline of Seal Beach Boulevard;

way line of Lampson Avenue;
Thence, southeasterly, along said line and continuing
southeasterly, easterly and northeasterly along southerly I
right-of-way line of Lampson Avenue to a point of intersection
with the centerline of candleberry Avenue;
Thence, southeasterly along said centerline to a point of
intersection with the centerline of Aster street:
Thence, southwesterly along said centerline of Aster Avenue to
the westerly projection of the southerly line of Lot 140,
Tract 6177;
Thence, easterly along the southerly line of Lots 140, 101 and
102 of Tract 6177 and the easterly projection of the southerly
line of said Lot 102 to the centerline of Bluebell street;
Thence, southerly along said centerline of Bluebell street to

Thence, southerly to an intersection of the easterly right-of-
way line of the Bolsa Chica Flood Control Channel with the I
northerly right-of-way line of the San Diego/Garden Grove
Freeway;
Thence, westerly along the northerly right-of-way line of the
San Diego/Garden Grove Freeway to a point which would be the
southerly prolongation of the centerline of Columbine Street
of Tract No. 6176, as recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, County
of orange;

of Seal Beach is hereby amended to correct the existing legal
descriptions of Councilmanic District One, Three and Five
respectively to read as follows:

Section 4. Severabilitv. If any section, subsection,
sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person, firm, corporation or
circumstance, is for any reason held to be invalid or
unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent
jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance. The city Council of the City
of Seal Beach does hereby declare that it would have adopted this
ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase,
or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that anyone or more
section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion be
declared invalid or \.nconstitutional.
