Home My WebLink AboutRDA Res 75-23 1975-12-22 r:" _-_, '-' .. , , RESOLUTION NO. 1i"- ~ 3- A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH FINDING THAT AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR EXPANSION OF THE RIVERFRONT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT IS SUFFICIENT. II THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the expansion of the Riverfront Redevelopment Project utilizing the firm of Environmental Impact Reports, Inc.; and I II I I I WHEREAS, the Draft Environmental Impact Report was advertised as required by the Public Resources Code dealing with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 as adopted by the City of Seal Beach; and WHEREAS, the Project Area Committee reviewed the Draft Environmental Impact Report and reported their findings to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the Seal Beach Planning Commission held a public hearing on said Draft Environmental Impact Report on November 19, 1975; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 960 the Planning Commission recommended that the Environmental Impact Report be considered sufficient; and WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been reviewed by the Redevelopment Agency and the uses shown in the Environmental Impact Report are found to be consistent with the City's General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach does hereby find and determine that the Environmental Impact Report for Expansion of the Riverfront Redevelopment Project is sufficient, has been completed in'comp1iance with the California Environmental Quality Act and State guidelines, and recommends that the City Council determine that the Environmental Impact Report is sufficient and to so certify. .
