RESOLUTION NUMBER 71-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, URGING THE PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH TO
REQUIRE AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDY FOR
PROPOSED PROJECTS IN THE REDEVELOPMENT PRO-
JECT AREA.
WHEREAS,
The Planning Commission of the city of Seal Beach is
designated to guide the development of the Community
in accordance with the General Plan and Zoning
Ordinance through such recognized means as conditional
use permits and precise plan reviewsl and
WHEREAS,
An environmental impact study may be included as a
condition of approval of future developments proposed
for the agency project areal and
Such a study should prove beneficial in uncovering
and ameliorating any adverse effects on the local
environment produced by said proposed development:
WHEREAS,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
by this resolution, urges the Planning commission to require an
environmental impact study be made prior to the granting of
Conditional Use Permits or approval of Precise Plans.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the Redevelopment Agency of
Seal Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 11th day of January,
1971, by the following vote:
