Honoring Seal Beach Police
Captain Tim Olson
Upon His Retirement
WHEREAS, the City of Seal Beach had its first law enforcement
officer in 1915 and relies upon the commitment and dedication of
its officers to contribute to the overall success of the Seal Beach
Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Captain Tim Olson joined the Seal Beach Police
Department as a Police Officer in January 1987, and served
continously; and
WHEREAS, Captain Olson has donated invaluable policing services
to our community for more than 28 years; and
WHEREAS, Captain Olson served as a patrol officer, detective,
bicycle officer, SWAT officer, corporal, sergeant, administrative
sergeant, lieutenant, and field operations captain, working days,
nights, weekends, and holidays; and
WHEREAS, Captain Olson is retiring from the City of Seal Beach
after 28 years of dedicated service to our community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the City of Seal
Beach City Council does hereby recognize:
CAPTAIN TIM 0 LSON
AND, BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the City of Seal Beach
City Council does hereby commend Captain Tim Olson with best
wishes upon his retirement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereby affix my signature and the seal of
the City of Seal Beach this Twenty-Seventh Day of July in the Year
Two Thousand Fifteen.
