A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR 2016
LOCAL-STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM PROJECT CIP NO.
ST1502
THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for
the 2015 Local Street Resurfacing Program Project CIP No. ST1 502 dated June
16, 2015 (the "Project").
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby awards a contract to All American 'Asphalt
for the Project in the amount of$381,544 and rejects all other bids.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to
execute the contract on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to 'approve
payments for additional necessary work requests in connection with the, Project
in the cumulative amount not to exceed $40,000..
SECTION 5. The City Council hereby authorizes an additional amount not to
exceed $40,000 for inspection and materials testing in connection with the
Project.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the Seal Beach City Council at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of July, 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Deaton, Sloan, Miller, Massa-Lavift, Varipapa
NOES: Council Members None
ABSENT: Council Members. None
ABSTAIN: Council Members— None
