A revision was made after the agenda was posted agenda item G — Senior
Mobility. Attached is a reline version illustrating the corrections and the final
revised page 3 of Attachment "B" for Agenda item G.

Progra Requirements:
1. jurisdi ion /Agency shall follow competitive procurement practices in selection of vendors for
all servi s which it does not provide using its own work force. Any Request for Proposals (RFP)
for servic shall specify the use of vehicles meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
2. Jurisdiction/ ency will perform, or ensure that a contracted vendor performs, maintenance of
all vehicles use in the Senior Mobility program, including, at a minimum:
a) Daily Pr Trip Inspections that meet or exceed the guidelines provided in the attached
Pre -Trip I pection Checklist (Attachment 2)
b) Scheduled p eventative maintenance that meets or exceeds the guidelines provided in
the attached M Checklist, including the maintenance of all accessibility features of the
vehicles.
c) Maintain mainte ance records for each vehicle for five (5) years and, if required,
cooperate fully in nnual motor coach carrier terminal inspections conducted by the
California Highway trol.
3. Jurisdiction /Agency will ensu e that its operators, or its contracted vendor's operators, are
properly licensed and trained t proficiency to perform duties safely, and in a manner which
treats its riders with respect and 'gnity. Disability awareness and passenger assistance will be
included in this training.
4. Jurisdiction /Agency will establish an implement an alcohol and drug program that complies
with 41 U.S.C. sections 701 -707, (the D g Free Workplace Act of 1988), and will produce any
documentation necessary to establish its c mpliance with sections 701 -707.
S. Jurisdiction /Agency will submit a monthly re ort to OCTA's Community Transportation Services
Department as illustrated in Attachment 3.
6. Jurisdiction /Agency will participate in OCTA ma eting and outreach efforts to encourage use of
fixed route transit service by older adults.
7. Jurisdiction /Agency will note OCTA sponsorship in a promotional material for service funded
under this agreement and will display an OCTA Senior bility Program logo on vehicles used in
this program (excluding taxis).
8. jurisdiction /Agency will ensure that it maintains adequate o ersight and control over all aspects
of services that are provided by a contracted vendor.

March 28 Meeting Minutes Revision
Robin,
The March 28 , 2016, meeting minutes for Agenda Item E needs to be revised by adding the following
sentence:
"Council Member Miller expressed the need for the Classification and Compensation analysis to reflect the
Public Works Department being headed by a civil engineer in charge of engineering and city maintenance
services."
