A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MATRIX
DESIGN GROUP, INC. FOR PREPARATION OF A JOINT LAND
USE STUDY AND APPROVE BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 17 -05-
02
THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the professional services
agreement between the City of Seal Beach and Matrix Design Group, Inc. for
preparation of Joint Land Use Study for the City of Seal Beach in partnership with
the City of Long Beach and Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach.
Section 2. The Community Development Department issued a Request for
Proposals from experienced consultants and completed a selection process to
find the most qualified proposal.
Section 3. The City of Seal Beach was awarded a grant of $290,000 from the
Office of Economic Adjustment to acquire the services of a consultant that would
assist in preparation of a Joint Land Use Study.
Section 4. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the
Agreement.
Section 5. The City Council hereby approves Budget Amendment No. 17 -05 -02
authorizing the acceptance of the Joint Land Use grant funds in the amount of
$290,000 and expend the same funds for preparation of a Joint Land Use Study
as follows:
