CONSULTANT 2012 through present
• City of Los Angeles - Port of Los Angeles (POLA) - determination of money owed to the POLA (as
royalty owner) within the Fault Block II Unit— Wilmington Oil Field by the working interest owner.
Completed the "Request for Proposal" for an operator to drill and operate on behalf of the POLA
within the previously abandoned Terminal Unit — Wilmington Oil Field.
• Signal Hill Petroleum - geologic evaluation of oil play along the Newport Inglewood Fault zone
utilizing Petrel geological software. Review of contracts, costs, and revenues for possible
acquisition.
• City of Hermosa Beach - determination of oil /gas reserves under the City of Hermosa Beach using
Petra geological software. Review of current contract obligations and restrictions to determine
possible revenue to the General Fund and the Tidelands Fund for the City of Hermosa Beach.
• City of Long Beach - determination of future flow of revenues to the Tidelands Fund from oil
operations in the City of Long Beach — Wilmington Oil Field for the purpose of refinancing bonds.
• Blackstone Oil and Gas - evaluation of SCOC wells and potential future revenue stream analysis in
the City of Huntington Beach (wells currently held in trust due to bankruptcy).
LONG BEACH GAS & OIL DEPARTMENT (LBGO) - LONG BEACH, CA 2005 through 2011
Gas and Oil Operations Manager /Acting Business Operations Manager
• Finalized the Optimized Waterflood Program Agreement between Oxy (now California Resources
Company - CRC) and the City of Long Beach for the West Wilmington Oil Field.
• Completed the gas agreement (delivery agreements, International Swaps and Derivatives Association
master agreement, Tidelands Dry Gas Agreement) with the State of California, Merrill Lynch, Thums,
and Shell to allow gas from the East Wilmington Oil Field to be accepted into the City of Long Beach's
gas utility system or to be sold on the open market.
• Conducted forecasts and estimates to close for budgets concerning the net profits due the City of
Long Beach from the oil operations (General Fund, Tidelands Operating Fund, Harbor Fund, and
Tidelands Oil Revenue Fund).
Managed a staff of 20 employees.
