In the past, the City has presented them with certificates at the last Council meeting in May
or early June. You could also do this at the Leo's Community Support Night on May 201h.
As 6 final note, I wanted you to know that the Seal Beach Leo Club recently had its five -year
anniversary. In those five years, more than 200 youth from Seal Beach and surrounding
areas have performed 7,430 community service hours and have donated $27,034 to
community programs and other charities. Yes, the Spirit of volunteerism is alive in the youth
of Seal Beach.
Please let me know how you want to handle the recognition.
Sincerely I /
