SUBJECT: Transfer Building Maintenance Costs
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Staff requests City Council approve transferring building maintenance expenditure
Ibudget from the Police Department to the Building Maintenance Department.
BACKGROUND:
Building maintenance costs for the whole City are usually budgeted in the Building
Maintenance Department. Staff proposes the Police Department building maintenance
costs be budgeted in the Building Maintenance Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The proposed transfer will have no effect on undesignated fund balance.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Council approve a resolution transferring $10,900 from the Police
Department to the Building Maintenance Department.
