IheTuwn Code Enforcement Officer performs a vanely of technical duties in support of the
Town's local code enforcement and animal control programs.
Responsibilities
• Monitors and enforces a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related
to zoning land use, nuisance housing building codes, health and safety, blight graffiti,
and other matters of public concern
• Enforces town animal regulations including but ne limited to, cruelty to animals,
dangerousbAcious animals, and animal bites, including dogs, livestock and fowl
• Patrols town limits, contains and picks -up stray dogs and transports them to appropriate,

• Serves as a resource and provides informal on Town regulations to property rumors
residents, businesses, the general public, and other Town departments and division=
