HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Res 6753 2017-08-141 RESOLUTION NUMBER 6753 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER OR PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT / SERVICES OR FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAINING COSTS FOR FY 2016 URBAN AREAS SECURITY INITIAVE (UASI) GRANT PROGRAM BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH WHEREAS, the terms of the grant require that the City of Anaheim use certain grant funds to purchase equipment, technology, or services that will be transferred to the City of Seal Beach to be used for grant purposes. WHEREAS, the City of Seal Beach are desirous of executing this Agreement as authorized by the City Council and the City Manager. THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Seal Beach, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, any actions necessary to obtain federal financial assistance provided by the United States Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency Grant Program Directorate and sub - granted through the State of California, California Emergency Management Agency. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
