Re: Project #49813-50062 13 /14t" Street Alley
Improvements
The Engineering Division has received requests from various Contractors to submit a
bid proposal as a General Contractor for the 13th/14th Street Alley Improvements
citing that the advertisement in FW Dodge was published after the mandatory pre-bid
meeting. This was unintentional but the project was properly advertised in the official
local newspaper on August 2, 2001 in accordance with the City's charter. Since the
City is not required to publish in the FW Dodge and to keep the project on schedule,
no bids will be accepted from any Contractor that did not attend the mandatory pre-
bid meeting.
In the event you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to call George
Bernard at (562) 431-2527.
