HomeMy WebLinkAboutSupplemental Information Received After Posting Agenda - Item I (4)Robin Roberts Subject: FW: LA Fitness - question on Item I BCC: CITY COUNCIL There was a Council member question as to whether the proposed widening of Rossmoor Center Way, between the Seal Beach Blvd and the four way intersection at Sprouts and Pei -Wei was a mitigation, an extra incentive by the developer, or a project paid for by Traffic Impact fees due to the City from the developer. The information below should clarify that the widening is not a required mitigation. The widening of Rossmoor Center Way and the extension of the northbound left -turn lane on Seal Beach Blvd are improvements that were proposed by the applicant as part of the project proposal. These were not required mitigation measures as they were part of the project itself. As these improvements are part of the project, the widening of Rossmoor Center Way and lengthening of the left -turn pocket on Seal Beach Blvd would have to be completed prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for the proposed fitness center. The applicant would be required to pay $160,580.00 in Transportation Facilities and Programs Development Fees. This fee is required aside from the project improvements that the developer would complete on Rossmoor Center Way and Seal Beach Blvd. Jill R.
