Bahorski, City Manager FROM: Steve Cushman, Chief of Lifeguards SUBJECT: Destruction of Lifeguard Department Records SUMMARY OF REOUEST: That Council approve the destruction of certain Lifeguard Department records, reviewed and approved by the City Attorney and attached to this report. The City Council has adopted Resolution Number 3378 which establishes procedures for the destruction of police records. Since the records retained in the Lifeguard Department are similar in nature and content to police records, the City Attorney has given his written consent to destroy those records which are attached as an exhibit to this report.
