The City Council finds, based on advice from legal
counsel, that discussion in open session will prejudice
the position of the local agency in the litigation.

A point has been reached where in the opinion of the
City Council on the advice of its legal counsel, based
on existing facts and circumstances, there is a
significant exposure to litigation against the City.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council and the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach did, at their
regular and regular adjourned meetings of December 11th, 2000,
adjourn until Wednesday, December 20th at 12:00 noon in the
City Council Chambers, 211 - 8th Street, Seal Beach, to meet
in closed and open sessions.
