The wording should have been, "...bargaining unit will receive payment for obtaining designated certificates...." Section 18 of the MOU is correct. Deaton; Sandra Massa-Lavitt; Thomas Moore; Mike Varipapa Subject: Marine Safety MOU: Wording conflict between staff report and MOU Hi Patrick, The top of page two of the staff report mentions "one-time payment for obtaining designated certificates." However, Section 18 of the MOU states that employees who possess EMT and USCG certifications will receive $500/$250 (respectively) annually each December 1st. Which is correct? Also, could you please share with me staffs spreadsheet that underlies the statement that the cost of the MOU changes for FY 17-18 will be less than $3000? Thanks, Robert
