HomeMy WebLinkAboutSupplemental - Petition not to meter 8th Street lot or raise merchant's parkingWe the undersigned, petition our Seal Beach Council not to meter our 8th Street
lot or raise merchant's parking stickers by five hundred percent. We feel that either
proposal will kill off the only component of our parking management efforts that has
worked. (The merchant parking program). The merchant parking program has kept
employees off of Main St. and out of residential areas. This program has already been
slashed in size. We propose revitalizing and making the merchant parking more
available by one, cutting the price of stickers in half and by restoring merchant parking
in our grossly under used metered lots and never full south side of the pier beach lot.
We feel we should not repeat our past mistakes, but promote our proven successes.
