Questions on Proposed CIP
FY 16-17 CIP Accomplishments and Project Status
Page 5: These listings do not include the Roof Repair Project, Marina HVAC, and the Tennis
Center W/O Room. I thought these were all done.
What is the current status of these projects?
CIP Summary Schedule
Page 10 General Fund: ST 1907 Street Tree Planting
Are we not going to do our routine annual $20,000?
Pagel M2: ST 1708 Traffic Synchronization—the left hand column indicates that the $58,000
was a previously approved carryover. However, this project was funded by Gas Tax in FY 17-18
with no M2 money.
While the project is not new, isn't designating this as an M2 carryover incorrect?
Pagel Sewer Cap Fund: WT 18015CADA Upgrade—the left hand column indicates that the
$100,000 proposed is new funding, not carry-over. However, $100,000 was in the FY 17-18 CIP.
Is the proposal for an additional $100,000?
Page 11 Water Cap Fund: WT 1801 SCADA Upgrade—the left hand column indicates that the
$100,000 proposed is new funding, not carryover. However, $100,000 was in the FY 17-18 CIP.
Is the proposal for an additional $100,000?
Page 11 Water Cap Fund: There is no listing of WT1702 Westminster Ave Water Main
Replacement which was funded at $2.9 million in FY 17-18. It is not listed as a completed
project on page 5.
What is the current status of this project?
General Questions:
Water Projects: Nearly $8 million in projects are proposed, as well as a $1.8 million transfer to
Water Operations. Page 140 of the proposed budget shows an Ending Fund Balance as of
6/30/18 of just over $17 million. This figure includes the value of capital assets (pipes,etc.).
How much of this $17 million is cash?
Sewer Projects: Nearly $2 million in projects are proposed, as well as a $2.3 million transfer to
Sewer Operations. Page 146 of the proposed budget shows an Ending Fund Balance as of
6/30/18 of just over $25 million. This figure includes the value of capital assets (pipes,etc.).
How much of this $25 million is cash?
