More detailed information is included in this handbook. Filing Time and Place Nomination papers must be filed between Monday July 16 2018 and Friday, August 10, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. in the Office of the City Clerk of Seal Beach (EC §10220) Required: The following forms are required in the nomination process: fb Nomination Paper (require 20 signatures, no more than 30) R Ballot Designation Worksheet Ri Candidates Statement Agreement F� Form 700 - Statement of Economic Interests �b Filing Fee in the amount of $25 (non-refundable) Payable to: City of Seal Beach Optional: The following forms are optional in the nomination process: Cb Candidate's Statement (200 words or less) • Printed & Electronic - deposit to cover the pro rata share of the Candidate's Statement costs (payable to the City of Seal Beach). District 1: $538 District 3: $535 District 5: $543 • Electronic Only $494.55 - payable to the City of Seal Beach ib Code of Fair Campaign Practices R Temporary Political Signs - acknowledgement (See Candidate Filing - Checklist) Note: R All forms must be filed at the some time. R It is your obligation to meet all filing requirements and deadlines. You are encouraged to return the necessary forms prior to the last day of filing.
