HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Res 4156 1992-06-08 RESOLUTION NO.~~~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SURFS IDE COLONY'S VARIOUS LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS OF [,HOSE PARCELS IN BLOCKS 471, 481, 491 AND 502 IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, BETWEEN PHILLIPS STEET AND ANDERSON AVENUE AS SHOWN IN THE ASSESSOR'S MAP BOOK 178, PAGES 47 THROUGH 50 OF THE ORANGE COUNTY ASSESSOR'S DEPARTMENT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA I WHEREAS, the project site described in the proposed revision to property line consists of legal building sites; and WHEREAS, on February 11, 1991, the Planning Commission approved proposed zoning ordinance amendments; and WHEREAS, the amended zoning ordinance was proposed and approved in anticipation of the lot line adjustments that are before the Council on June 8, 1992; and WHEREAS, any land taken from one parcel will be added to an adjacent parcel and no additional parcels will result from the lot line adjustment; and WHEREAS, the parcels proposed to be created by the lot line adjustment comply with all applicable zoning regulations; and WHEREAS, the lot line adjustments will simply conform title to existing uses and make each of the affected homeowners' lots 25 feet deeper toward the northeast; and WHEREAS, the project complies with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, in most cases, the property that is to be embraced by the lot line adjustments is already improved with a garage used by the adjacent home and no change in use or density will result. I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Seal Beach approves the lot line adjustment of those parcels in Blocks 471, 481, 491 and 502 in the City of Seal Beach between Phillips street and Anderson Avenue as shown in the Assessor's Map Book 178, pages 47 through 50 of the orange County Assessor's Department, Orange County, California, attached hereto. city Council of the C~J_' of thereof held on the ~ Seal Beach, Day of AYES: t NOES: ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBER I ~ ~1~1" 'O-f SEAL Q~~.. ~..1. ........
