for a pilot program in CPW. It's an LPR solution designed for single ingress / egress

Item F. Ocean Place Development
Do we have a schedule when grading will begin? The grading operations are currently underway
with completion anticipated by mid-February.
Park work will be completed first? The Park construction will commence in March 2019 and
anticipated to be completed by summer. The residential portion of the development work
will be performed in parallel.
What is the status of the visitor-serving property? The City has not received an application or
proposal for development of the visitor-serving lot. Any proposal will have to comply
with the City's Municipal Code then must be approved by the Coastal Commission.
Item H. PSA with Rasic Construction
What would the cost be for a 200 AMP service panel?Approximately $8,000, however, the
project work plan called for replacement/relocation since the existing 200 Amp panel was
well beyond it useful life and its location no longer met building codes. Also, the work
plan assumed that this service panel would be upsized to a 400 Amp since a 200 Amp
would not be sufficient for a facility with this intended use.
Would such a panel require replacement of underground infrastructure? The existing conduit does
not meet current Edison code. Given this and the existing conduit's age it was
recommended by SCE that it be replaced. With that said, the existing conduit could work
provided that the 200 Amp panel stays.
Item J. Parking changes in Muni Code
Are there changes to the rules for oversized vehicles in neighborhoods (from current code)?
No change; however, we did bolster Section 8.15.025 - adding that vehicles must move a
distance of 150 feet and that vehicles that remain stationary may be removed by the
Police Department.
Will there be dedicated spaces for oversized vehicles in the beach lots?
No. Oversized vehicles dramatically impact the congestion within the beach lots.
What will the parking rules be for the library lot?
2 Hours Max Time Limit; Residential Permit Parking Valid 7pm -7am.
New rules will go into effect 31 days after passage?
Yes.
