Dear City Clerk:
We oppose any changes to the parking ordinances in CPE. We have a small RV which is under 20' long. We park it in
front of our house because it doesn't fit in our garage. We don't necessarily move it every day or use it every day.
We pay a lot in house taxes, and oppose having parking tickets for parking in front of our own house. We also oppose
having to go out and move the RV every day so the valve stems will be in a different position.
Plz do not start ticketing residents for parking in front of their own homes.
Best,
Dave and Paulette Smith

Subject: Parking in Old Town
Hello,
I am concerned about the idea of having to move a vehicle 150 feet from the previous parking spot. This seems a bit
overboard for the residents in Old Town, where every parking spot is vied for, especially on street sweeping days. Those
of us with larger SUV's have often very difficult times finding a spot large enough to park-so to add the idea of having to
move exactly 150 feet from a previous spot just seems crazy! What if the only spot for blocks is 2 spaces up???Then
what, you have to get out a measuring tape? Or pass up a parking spot? I would hope the City and Police could find
ideas to help the citizens rather than more rules to make the residents want to throw up their hands in exasperation
and move from this town.
Thank you for your time
