Dear City Manager,
We are outraged to see the most recent news regarding the continuing battle of the
Bed & Breakfast debate! We understood that several weeks ago the Planning
Commission had denied the request to the change the zoning laws to permit such an
business to operate in our residential neighborhood. Why, at this point, does the
City Council feel they have to overwrite the Planning Commission on their
decision? The Planning Commission was correct. This project is not consistent
with the neighborhood. The project can not even meet the parking requirements.
Turn down this application! Tell the staff to work for the community, not one
specific individual.
