Last year a skunk was trapped on my property. Animal Control refused to assist. I contacted Mr. Keith Till and he indicated that Animal Control did not have responsibility for wildlife and produced a job description for the animal control officer. That job description did make wildlife part of the job description,of the Animal Control Officer and there was subsequent communication with City Manager Till on this issue. I request that you have City Manager Till produce my complaint, his response and my subsequent communications. You need to be aware that the Animal Control Officer will not respond to resident complaints of trapped wildlife. We all care about the missing pets and there are many fine people who care for these hurt or abandoned animals. However, we have only Animal Control to handle the wildlife situation and I request you investigate and make part of the public record the above referenced communications with City Manager Till. I also request that you make sure that resident needs for wildlife removal is provided for in the City of Seal Beach. Sinc rely, I cL__,..___ il___. i1 iii + • p47) Mic elle A. Brendel, Ph.D.
