With Los Angeles county closing their beaches we will no doubt get an influx of people coming down to Seal Beach. (Normally not an issue) We are currently living in the River Beach Townhomes and when Long Beach was closed we would see a constant rush of people parking near the docks/restaurants and walking over to the beach. While I think everyone should be able to use/access all beaches,, this is a huge cause for concern. We have already had two places close, Clancy's and Cottage Beach Spa close due to Covid cases and lack of wearing masks. When 2 picking up dinner on Main street, we see packed restaurants, hardly anyone is wearing masks. For whatever reason, masks have become a political issue, it is not. Please urge and/or continue to urge people to wear them. My husband is a doctor, my brother in law is an ER physician, another friend who works at UCIrvine all say numbers and cases are going up. Beds are filling up. Please help keep our community safe.
