BCC: CITY COUNCIL
Please see attached staff responses to Mayor Sustarsic's questions related to tonight's agenda.
As always, please call if you have any questions prior to tonight's meeting. And thank you for letting me know by 1:00
pm if you planned to pull any Consent Calendar items so that I was able to ensure that staff had adequate time to
prepare for a presentation and have presentations uploaded by the Clerk’s Office prior to the Council meeting to ensure
a smooth transition on Zoom since the meeting is being recorded so that there are no technical issues or delays with
screen sharing during the meeting.
Thank you,
Jill

Will the loss of revenue to the city from reducing the cost of business parking permits and waiving FOG
wastewater discharge permits be reimbursable by Cares Act funding? At this time, the reduction in
revenues cannot be recovered from CARES Act Funding. However, there are COVID-19 expenditures
that are reimbursable expenses that will relieve direct impact on the General Fund that will offset the
reduction in revenues.
