Analysis• Seal Beach Municipal Code (SBMC § 11.4.40.015.A and B) allows minor improvements tononconforming residential structures• Section B in particular allows for minorimprovements which involve the alteration oraddition of roofs, balconies and porches tononconforming properties.• The alterations proposed are consistent with the code and will not intensify the nonconforming setbacks.
Recommended Action• Staff recommends the PlanningCommission adopt attached ResolutionNo. 20-10, approving MUP 20-4 withconditions
