Thank you. ITEM B: Should the masks and wipes be identified in accounting as COVID/ emergency related? FEMA came out with guidance that beginning on 9/15/20, PPE and disinfecting supplies would no longer be reimbursable as they are now considered part of everyday operations. They can only be considered for reimbursement if they are directly related to responses tied to COVID-19. Because of this rule, it primarily applies to medical aid responses. What are the kiosks at City Hall for? Keeping in mind, the City would not want people touching things in common during the pandemic, why would kiosks be needed at this time? Wouldn’t mobile app be a better solution where people can use their own devices? The Kiosks are for people who do not have computers or even mobile devices to access the sites, which means they would not be able to access any City services at home, including the new parking portal or sign up for recreation classes. The parking portal can be accessed from any device that has internet access anywhere in the world. These Kiosks will give citizens two locations within the City to access the parking portal to buy/revise permits, contest citations, and even pay citations. These Kiosks will also assist in other processes as the City becomes more virtual. The Kiosks will include all City services that are on the City’s website and will be located on each floor of City Hall and at the PD. The Kiosks will also help when we reopen these facilities since we will likely only be able to assist one person at each counter at a time, and these Kiosks will provide an additional resource to our customers. Finally, the Kiosks will be disinfected as needed. ITEM F: For the Task 6 for this scope of work, is 2 years ongoing operations and maintenance really necessary? Is it possible to reduce this by half to one year to save some money as it doesn’t seem like much would change after the implementation. The 2-year O&M period is required per OCTA grant guidelines.
