Why not put a big ad in the local paper, so that everyone can read rates and why.. Was each customer mailed a 45 day notice with all the details of why the rate was going to be so high? Look at what is going on for the years City Manager Jill Ingram has been here. Oil problems, red bus on Main Street and another bus down at the coffee shop ,no new water line to end of pier, so pier restaurant went down with the fire and millions of dollars lost. Dirt on the beach for sand, Paying for some employees college bills, when hardly any money coming in for sales tax. Enough. Time for new City Manage. How do you pay for higher pensions? This has been a problem for this City for years. So if they do not want to take their vacation days, they take the money and add to make pensions larger. How many times has the City refinanced the pension we owe? And how do you get the CALPERS money back that was sent out of the country? The side walk in front of the Bay Theater should not have all those steps. The Bay Theater, when my kids went to the movies there, had no steps. A lady on the hill worked there and has pictures of the front. NO Steps. Mayor Kalmick you should call her and take a look at the front of the Bay Theater. Whoever approved the front, I would like their name. They should pay for the ALL the insurance bills from the people who will be hurt. Not the taxpayers. She has a lot of pictures of the front going into the Theater. We need someone new for City Manager that knows the history of Seal Beach. Joyce Ross Old Town Resident
