Vaccine Distribution • Leisure World now has 4,1646 residents with their 1St round of vaccinations completed 0 2nd vaccine rounds estimated to begin early to mid-March • Seal Beach Health and Rehab (SNF) has 66 of their residents and 86 of their staff members vaccinated with their 2nd vaccine • Sunrise Living Facility (ALF) has 95V of their residents and 70 of staff members vaccinated with their 2nd vaccine Active Phase 1 A & 1 B, Tier 1 • In addition to Phase 1A (all tiers), the County is expanding vaccine eligibility to Phase 1B, which includes: o Education o Food Service, Grocery and Agriculture Workers o Child Care Providers o Emergency Services • Individuals who live or work in Orange County can register online through www.Othena.com for appointments and to stay informed. • Vaccines are also available through medical providers, clinics and local pharmacies in Orange County. • Learn more at: www.covidvaccinefacts.com https://www.othena.com/ Vaccine Distribution • Vaccine supply continues to be an issue, and the County's Super PODs are affected. o The Disneyland Super POD has closed temporarily through Monday, February 22 and perhaps longer, pending receipt of additional vaccine supply, as severe weather across the country has delayed delivery of vaccines. o Additionally, the opening of the Anaheim Convention Center site, scheduled for Wednesday, February 24, is potentially delayed, also due to weather impacting deliveries. o Everyone who has an appointment through Othena should receive notifications. o The Johnson & Johnson vaccine may receive approval this week, which could help increase vaccine supply locally.
