Kelly; Jeannette Andruss; Les Johnson Subject: Question for Housing Element Special Session, 3/8/21 Dear Council and Staff, In our last Housing Element, the City was required to rezone to accommodate 21 housing units at a density of at least RHD 20 to meet the very -low to low income housing requirement. The 21 units represented 19 left over from the 4t" cycle Housing Element plus two more for the 5t" cycle. The City met this requirement by rezoning the entire 4.5 -acre Accurate Storage site to RHD 20, thus accommodating potentially up to 90 units. The DWP property was also rezoned to RHD 20 with 30 homes actually built. Can either or both of these rezonings in excess of the 5th cycle requirement be applied as credit towards the 459 very low to- ow income units now being required for the 6t" cycle Housing Element? Thank you for your consideration and service, Robert Goldberg
