A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN POLICE RECORDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
I
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution #3378 setting forth
a procedure for the destruction of certain police
recordsj and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his written consent for the
destruction of certain police records, the list of
which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Seal Beach does hereby authorize the destruction of those
police records listed on the attachments to the City Attorney's
letter dated November 19 and 20, 1986, on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Coun~~of the City of

Re: Destruction of Certain Police Records

Dear Dan:
Pursuant to Government Code Section 34090 and
Resolution No. 3378 of the City Council of the City of
Seal Beach, I hereby give my written consent to you to
destroy the police records listed on the attachment to
this letter. Said records are for police reports which
were issued in 1975 and 1976. As you know, Section 34090
and Resolution No. 3378 also require the City Council to
approve the destruction of these records by resolution.
