A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
WHICH CERTIFIES THAT THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH HAS
THE RESOURCES TO FUND THE PROJECTS IN THE FY
2022/23 - 2027/28 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM AND AFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO
IMPLEMENT ALL PROJECTS IN THE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Seal Beach ("City") is located within the metropolitan planning
boundaries of the Southern California Association of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized project submittals to Orange County
Transportation Authority's (OCTA) Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP);
and,
WHEREAS, City is the lead agency for projects and will comply with applicable local,
state, and federal provisions including but not limited to the Federal Transportation
improvement Program, California Environmental hivality Act, National 'Environmental
Policy Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Buy America; and,
WHEREAS, City agrees to construct Transportation Control Measures projects as noted
in the amendments in a timely manner or to assist with finding a substitute project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1: The City Council hereby affirms the City's commitment to the projects
submitted in the 2023 Federal Transportation Improvement Program.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the Seal Beach City Council at a regular
meeting held on the 13th day of December, 2021 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members: Kalmick, Massa-Lavitt, Moore, Sustarsic, Varipapa
NOES: Council Members: None
ABSENT: Council Members: None
ABSTAIN: Council Members: None
