RESOLUTION NUMBER ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING
PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT
BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE
PRIMARY MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON TUESDAY, MARCH 29,
1988, CALLED BY ORDINANCE NUMBER 1265 OF THE CITY
COUNCIL.
I
a Primary Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday,
March 29, 1988; has been called by Ordinance Number
1265, adopted on December 7, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.

Section 2.
That for the purpose of holding the Primary
Municipal Election, there is established twenty-
three (23) voting precincts consisting of
consolidations of the regular election precincts in
the City of Seal Beach established for the holding
of state and county elections, as the regular
election precincts exist on the date of adoption of
this resolution. That the polling places for the
respective precincts shall be the places
designated; and that the persons named, being
competent and voters and residents of the City
are appointed precinct board members for their
respective voting precincts and they shall conduct
the election in the manner provided by law.

Section 3.
That the compensation of the persons named as
precinct board members is fixed at the sum of $45.00
dollars for each Inspector and $40.00 dollars for
each Judge and Clerk for the election. The rental
for each of polling place, where a charge is made,
shall be the sum of $35.00 dollars for the election.
Section 4.
That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution and enter it into the
book of original resolutions.
