I THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 18th day of April, 1988, said C~ty Council passed and adopted Resolution No. initiatlng proceedings for the formation of a Street LIghting District to levy and collect annual assessments for the continual maintenance of lighting improvements, all serve and benefit said District as said area is shown on the map previously approve~ ily said City Council, a copy of WhlCh is on file in the Offlce of the City Clerk and open to public lnspection. All proceedlngs have been initlated under the terms and provisions of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act 01 1972", being Divislon 15, Part 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and said District is known and designated as: CITY OF SEAL BEACH STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1 (herelnafter referred to as "District"). ENGINEER'S REPORT I NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that there has been submitted a "I<eport" of the Engineer, which "Report" has been flIed with the City Clerk, pursuant to the provislons of the "LandscapIng and LIghting act of 1972", which "Report" generally consists of the following: 1. Plans and Specifications; 2. Estimate of the cost of said improvement for the period of time as set forth in the Resolution of Intentlon for these proceedings, including all incidental expenses relative thereto: 3. A diagram of the District for the proposed improve- ments showing the exterior boundary lines thereof, and the dimenSIons of each and every lot or parcel of land therein; 4. A proposed assessment of the total costs and expenses ln relation to said proposed improvement, showing the amount assessed upon each and every lot or parcel of land in said Distrlct, all as required. DECLARATION OF INTENT I NOTICE IS FURTHEI< GIVEN that the City Council hereby declares its intentlon to order the formation of the City of Seal Beach Street Lighting District Number 1 and to levy and collect assessments pursuant to the prOVisions of sald "Street Lighting and Landscaping Act of 1972." OF SAID DAY, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THIS CITY LOCATED AT 211 8TH STREET, SEAL BEACH, HAS BEEN FIXED AS THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE FORMATION OF ALL THE PROPOSED MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS, THE EXTENT OF ALL THE MAINTENANCE, WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT, AND ANY OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO. ANY PERSON INTERESTED IN OBJECTING TO THE FONMATION OF THE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT SHOULD FILE A WRITTEN PROTEST WITH THE CITY CLERK OF THIS CITY AT OR BEFORE THE TIME SET FOR SAID PUBLIC HEARING. ANY PROTEST BY A PROPENTY OWNER SHALL CONTAIN A DESCRIPTION SUFFICIENT TO IDENTIFY THE SUBJECT PROPERTY. ALL INTERESTED PERSONS SHALL BE AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR OR BE HEARD. LIGHTrNG ASSESSMENT DISTRICT BOUNDARIES The boundaries of the District are coincidental with the existing City limIts and are more particularly described as shown on a "Map" of said District as previously approved by this CIty Council, and further aelineated and shown upon the DIagram and Plan as referred to in the "Report" of the Engineer; all of which Diagram and Plan and "Report" are on file in the OffIce 01 the City Clerk and open to public inspection. MAINTENANCE WORK All of the improvements to be maintaIned are on ~ublic streets, avenues, places, medians and parkways 1n the City and withIn the City limits of this City. For particulars as to the maintenance, reference is made to the Engineer's Report as on fIle in the Office of the City Clerk.
