RESOLUTION NUMBER ~~~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN POLICE RECORDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution Number 3378 setting forth a procedure for the destruction of certain police records; and I WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his written consent for the destruction of certain police records. the list of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby authorize the destruction of those Police records listed on the attachments to the City Attorney's letters dated July 23, 1985, July 24, 1985 and July 31, 1985 on file in the office of the City Clerk. Said records are for police reports which were issued in 1967 and 1968. As you know, Section 34090 and Resolution No. 3378 also require the City Council to approve the destruction of these records by resolution.
