HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Res 3505 1985-08-26 Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 32 would reverse that decision by making public employee strikes illegal; and ACA 32 sets forth rules to be followed in the discharge or reinstatement of striking employees; and ACA 32 provides that public agencies may seek damages from striking employees as well as their union; and the City Council of the City of Seal Beach feels that this amendment protects the health and safety of its citizenry. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Seal Beach does hereby support ACA 32 banning public employee strikes.
