A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH MAKING THE DETERMINA-
TION REQUIRED BY CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT
CODE SECTION 43607 IN CONNECTION WITH THE
ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE ACQUISITION
OF THE ZOETER SCHOOL SITE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH HEREBY FINDS,
DETERMINES, RESOLV~S AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to California Government
Code Section 43607, the City Council hereby determines
that the public interest and necessity demands the
acquisition of that certain real property located in
the City of Seal Beach, commonly known as the Zoeter
School Site, for open space, park and recreation, child
care, and cultural and community affairs uses. A legal
description of such property is attached hereto as
Exhibit A.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF ZOETER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
That portion of Bay View Tract in the City of Seal Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in I
Book 8, Page 91, inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Being a subdivision of Lots 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31,
33, 35, 37, 39, 41 43, 45, 47, 49, 51, 53, 55 and 57, Block 219,
the north 15 feet of Lots 27 and 28, and Lots 29 through 66,
Block 211. Further described as including but not limited to the
vacated portion of 11th Street and alley.
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Pacific Coast
Highway and 12th Streetl thence. northwesterly along said
centerline of Pacific Coast Highway, 39 feet to the northeasterly
projection of the westerly right-of-way line of 12th Street.
Thence, southwesterly along said projection line, 59 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Said point also being the most easterly
corner of Block 211 of Bay View Tract.
Thence, continuing southwesterly along said westerly right-of-way
line of 12th Street. (Also being the easterly property line of
Zoeter Ele~entary School) a distance of 490 feet to the northerly
right-of-way line of Landing Avenue. (Also being the north 15
feet of Lots 27 and 28, Block 211).

Thence, northwesterly along said northerly right-of-way line of
Landing Avenue a distance of 319 feet to the westerly right-of-
way line of 11th Street. Said line alBO being the easterly
property line of Lots 15, 17 and 19 in Block 219.
