SUBJECT: Orange County Transportation Authority - Contract Amendment #3
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
That Council approve the amendment between the City of Seal Beach and the Orange
County Transportation Authority (OCTA) as a means for seniors to participate in the
Senior Nutrition Program.
BACKROUND:
At the May 10th meeting, Council considered and approved an amendment to this contract
to increase the FY 98/99 fees from $12,475 to $12,725.92. OCTA has requested this
contract be extended an additional four month period until October 31, 1999 and has
submitted amendment #3 to cover the cost of additional trips during that four-month
period. The fees would change from $12,725.92 to $17,731.68
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no impact on the current budget. Funding is provided through the Air Quality
Improvement Fund.
RECOMMENDATION:
Upon motion of the Consent Calendar, Council will•approve Amendment #3 to the OCTA
contract for transportation for the Senior Nutrition Program and authorize the City
Manager to execute same.

Forwarded are two (2) copies of Amendment No. 3 to Agreement
No. C-8-0197 by and between the Orange County Transportation
Authority and the City of Seal Beach, said Amendment for the
purpose of amending Article 8, term of agreement, Article 9 ,
payment, Article 11, notices, and Exhibit "A" , the Scope of
Work. The Amendment was approved by the City Council on May
24th, 1999 .
Please return one (1) copy of the Amendment to my attention
once it has been signed by the Transportation Authority.
