It is a period when special efforts are made to impress upon employers the qualities which make former servicemen and servicewomen good candidates for employment. It is a period when special efforts are made to impress upon employers that veterans make good candidates for employment because of their valuable experience, skills and training. The campaign also helps to promote and publicize the employment services and programs that EDD offers for veterans, and that veterans receive priority for those services. We hope that you, Mayor Yost and the City of Seal Beach will join us in a show of appreciation for our veterans. A great start for "Veteran Appreciation Month" would be, you signing this proclamation. We would appreciate any ideas or help you can give us. Sincerely 4,,,Z AztPu Kenneth 0.
